Magickal Infused Water

 

It’s really important for all of us to drink water, and making fruit-infused water is one way to not only make super yummy tasting water that’s amazingly healthy for you, but you can make it magickal as well. A simple method for making infused water is with a pitcher.  Place the fruit that you wish to use in the bottom of the pitcher. Fill it about halfway with ice, then top with water.  Let it sit for about an hour, and you have a pitcher full of water that tastes amazing.

I tend to do it an easier way. I have a huge mason jar cup that I always have with me. I choose the fruits that I wish to work with, toss some of them in, fill my cup with ice, top it with water, and then shake it a bit for a minute. It honestly works amazing. I can use the same fruit for a few refills.

Now that you know how to make it, how do you make it magickal?

It’s pretty easy, actually. You want to look for fruits that have the metaphysical properties you wish to have in your water. So, let’s get you some to get you started.

Apples – spiritual energy, balance, harmony.
Blackberries – wealth, protection
Blueberries – calm, acceptance, peace, and protection.
Cherries – feminine energy, divination
Cranberries – protection, fight off negative influence or energy
Grapefruit – generosity, joy
Grapes – spiritual energy, divination, mental awareness, fertility
Kiwi – romance
Lemons – cleansing, longevity, faithfulness
Lime – purification, healing
Mango – spirituality, divination, positive energy
Orange – purifying, positive energy
Passion fruit – friendship, love
Peaches – love, spiritual fertility, wishes
Pears – passion, love
Pineapple – protection, luck, prosperity
Plums – love, inspiration, relaxation
Pomegranate – growth, fertility
Raspberries – stamina
Strawberries – love, romance, luck

Those are some to get you started!  You can also use herbs and veggies if you want. Another great trick is to freeze the fruits first and then put them in your water. The flavor is stronger that way when they thaw.
