We are officially in the Season of the Witch and I'm so excited! Here in New England the leaves are just about to start reaching their peak depending upon your location. We are planning to go for a drive this weekend to go find some Vermont Cheese and Apple Cider. We bought some cider from a local grocery store this week so that Earl could can the apples from our apple trees. I have about ten jars of apple cider apples. I'm super excited. Of course we had to have some hot cider with cinnamon. I also have been wanting to make an apple pie. One of my favorite things to do is to add a slice of extra sharp cheddar cheese to a hot slice of apple pie. It's a favorite New England treat.
Some of you may have notice that I am not running the countdown to Samhain this year. It was a difficult decision but I was trying to decide what I thought more of you wanted. I know a lot of people have been getting really burnt out on the holidays and I didn't want to add to that. I thought that along with doing some articles on Samhain and the energy it brings I would also dig into the harvest season energy a bit more and just some other things as they come up. Often the articles in Moonsong Daily Magick are inspired by the life I am living here in New England, so I'm hoping to tap into a bit more of that cozy Autumn living energy that I know I have been feeling pulled towards and I know a lot of you are as well. Let me know what you think! I'm here for you! If you have topic or things you want me to dig into let me know! I've been doing this for over 20 years and I'm always up for something new!
This month is going to be so busy! We have our October New Moon on October 10th. That's going to come up quicker than you think! Our Full Moon will be on the 25th of the month. We celebrate Samhain on October 31st and our Witch's New Year on November 1st!! Remember that this is often a month of change where you may find yourself releasing things to make room for new energy that may come your way with the Witch's New Year. Be open to that energy of change moving around you! The veils will be thinning soon! For those of you with strong intuition know that spirit activity will be up and communication will become easier. It's an important time to keep up on your energy maintenance. Things like grounding and shielding are important!

New this year is an option to choose some different decks for readings. This is something coming across the entire shop. For those of you who get readings you may have started to notice it. I have so many amazing tarot and oracle decks. When you get a reading on some readings you will also see an option to choose your deck! I hope you will have fun with it!
