Welcome March!

 

Welcome to the third month of the year!  Are you ready for those March Winds of Change? I'm happy to say that the wind has finally stopped for the most part here today and we are finally starting to warm up! I can see grass in my front yard and I am so ready! I'm looking forward to looking for everything coming back in the following weeks.  Our Willow trees are starting to bud and I just know our bulbs are getting ready for when the snow goes away.  This morning I woke up to the birds singing outside. I was so excited.  March is known for it's energy of new beginnings and the energy of change that it brings.  We definitely have a lot of energy of change around us right now as we are still in Eclipse Season.  This is bringing a lot of energy of endings and new beginnings and you want to be sure that you are staying open to the changes coming your way. We celebrate our Full Moon for March paired with a Lunar Eclipse on Tuesday.  Make sure that you check back with me Tuesday for all the Full Moon information! This month we also celebrate the Spring Equinox and Easter on the 20th.  This is when we celebrate the Goddess Eostre and her sacred hare and the return of the warm weather to the Earth. It's a wonderful time to start tending to your garden and your personal garden of energy. You are going to find that Spring is not just in the world around you but it's also happening in your life as well.  You will likely feel called to do some Spring Cleaning this year both of your house and in your personal life.  It can be a lot of fun to let go of things that are just no longer working for you to make room for things that you truly want to see in your life.  Let's take a look at what's coming our way this month. March 1 - First day of March March 3 - Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse March 6 - Laurie Cabot's birthday. Laurie is the official witch of Salem. March 14 - Moon near Pleiades (Seven Sisters) star cluster in the evening. March 18 - Celtic Tree Month of Alder begins March 18 - New Moon March 20 - Ostara/Spring Equinox This month I pulled the Four of Wands.  You are navigating so much energy of change this month but it has the potential to be so rewarding when you work with it! You are going to find extra success when you are working on things that have to do with your foundation in your life.  Your foundation is your home, immediate family and anything and anyone else that goes into supporting you on a day to day basis.  This is a great time to make plans for the future for travel or for changes that you can make in your life that will bring you more happiness.  You will find a bit of an extra focus on communication and the relationships in your life as well this month.
