Tonight our Moon is known to many as the Full Wolf Moon or the Cold Moon. January is one of the coldest months so it's easy to see where that name came from. It is also called the Full Wolf Moon as this is a month that you may be more likely to hear the wolves howling or barking in the distance in the night. While people often talk about them howling at the full moon, that unfortunately isn't the case. They do howl to communicate or to mark their territory. You may find that you are more likely to hear them this time of year in a storm if they are lost or trying to find each other.
Our Moon tonight is in Cancer. It's going to strengthen your intuition and your connection to yourself. Know that when this happens you are also going to be more in tune with your emotions and the things that you are thinking and feeling. It's a great day to spend some extra time journaling or doing something in the arts that allows you to express yourself. There's something powerful in taking time to connect with yourself and to be honest about the things that you are thinking and feeling where you are in your life.
