The planet Jupiter brings us energy that helps us to navigate energy of transition and change in our life and that often results in growth in our lives. Thursdays are a good day to explore and to look to gain information in your life. If you have questions it’s a good day to seek answers. Welcome July!

 

One of the most magickal things during the year for me is the return of the fireflies.  They've been here for the last few weeks, and we've spent a lot of happy nights enjoying their return.  Once upon a time, I only had a few of them in my yard, and we would go across the road to gaze down upon the fields below and the hundreds, perhaps thousands of fireflies that just lit up that field below, turning it into a show of glittering lights that was just so mesmerizing. Over the years Earl worked hard to make our yard firefly-friendly, and now we enjoy the fireflies in our yard as well. Hundreds of them light up our backyard at night, and it is just so surreal to sit there in the quiet of the night in the middle of them all. 

That magickal energy of sitting and watching the fireflies while the tree frogs are in the distance, with the crickets and the frogs croaking in my pond, wonderfully captures a bit of the energy that I feel all of us could use right now.  Things have been challenging and even chaotic and I know that so many of us can use to just take some time to sit in the magick.  While you may not have fireflies in your backyard, pick a night to go somewhere and sit under the stars.  Take that time out to do something that feels magickal for you and honor the reset in energy that your soul is looking for.  We just celebrated a New Moon that brought energy around us to help us with this, and our Full Moon will expand upon this and help us grow this energy.  While there may be challenges and chaos that you need to navigate, remember that you are magick.  Use energy and magick to help take care of yourself and to move energy in the directions that you need it to go. Take time to relax a bit and to enjoy all that is around you, like those warm summer nights and the wonderful treats that nature has blooming all around us.  I know our milkweed has been making flowers for the butterflies, and it smells amazing! They are especially fragrant at night and first thing in the morning.

As we begin this, the 7th month of the year, know that the number 7 brings us energy that helps us to connect more spiritually. It's a great month to spend some extra time out in nature and doing things that help you feel more connected to yourself and your spiritual self.  Our wonderful Sun is still bringing us some very long days and is going to bring us a lot of positive energy and clarity on our paths this month, which will help us to gain understanding of where we currently are.  If you've been feeling challenged, frazzled, and perhaps a bit confused by everything going on, you may find that July is the month to bring some added clarity and information that may help you to gain a greater understanding of things happening in your life.

The energy today is empowering and you will find that it makes it easier for you to make changes in your life that you want to see and helps you to move your life in the direction that you want to go. It’s a great day to get things done and work on changes that you want to make in your life. If you need extra courage or confidence to go after something you want or to get something done, today would be a great day to take that on.
