Today is a busy day with some great energy coming your way! First, congratulations on making it to where you are today! The last several months have probably been going by in a bit of a whirlwind of changes as you work on ending the Year of the Wood Snake and shedding anything that needs to be let go of to get ready for a new chapter in your life. For many of you, this has involved some major life changes! If you look back you may be astonished at just how much things have shifted! All of the work you have been doing has been leading you to where you are standing today... the new path that is waiting for you.
Today you start a new chapter in your life. Happy Lunar New Year! We are now beginning the Year of the Fire Horse! Horses represent freedom in life and fire brings you energy of passion. At the beginning of 2026 I told you that this was going to be a year that you were going to learn to walk a path that is authentic to you. This means living your life by honoring who you are and what you truly want. It's not always easy!! You are going to find that if you look back a lot of the challenges that you've been navigating have had to do with that or letting go of things that were holding you down or holding you back in one way or another. A lot of what you learned about yourself in 2025 is going to be incredibly important to decisions that you are making and things that you are doing in 2026. You are now standing on a new path ready to work with the energy of the horse and work with energy of freedom that is meant to help inspire you to live the life that you want to live. Are you ready?
Today we also celebrate our February New Moon. It's the beginning of a new lunar cycle and the energy moving in around you today is going to help set the pace for the next several weeks. Our New Moon this month is in Aquarius. The Moon in Aquarius helps to bring you energy that is going to help bring you more freedom in your life. Can you see how this really aligns with the beginning of the Year of the Fire Horse? Powerful energy coming your way today. It also helps you to tune into your emotions and your intuition giving you a stronger sense of where you want to make the changes in your life this Eclipse Season. Be aware that this energy may trigger some emotional wounds. You are going to find that you are feeling things more deeply. This will help you to learn more about yourself and to dig into things that you are thinking and feeling but it may bring some added challenges for those of you who may be working through some emotionally challenging things or carrying some things in life that are painful emotionally. You may find that this energy brings some of those things to the surface. Be patient with yourself and get yourself time and space where you may need it. Work with lavender and rose quartz to help calm the nerves and anxiety and to bring more self-love around you. Make sure that you are taking some extra time to ground and center and most important...don't forget to simply take time to breathe.
Today is also the Solar Eclipse and the beginning of Eclipse Season. A Solar Eclipse is when the Moon moves between our Earth and the Sun casting a shadow over the sun. This isn't just any Solar Eclipse though, this is an annular Solar Eclipse. With an Annular Solar Eclipse, the Moon cover's the Sun's center and makes it look like there is a ring of fire around the Moon. This Eclipse will unfortunately not be viewable by many of us. You can check to see if you are in an area that will be able to see it here: Eclipse Viewing Map Just because you can't see it though doesn't mean you won't feel the energy bringing your way. Eclipse Season brings powerful energy of change. You may find that you are still letting go of some things but now is time to bring things towards you and to make decisions that help you to ensure that you are really on the path that you want to be walking in your life.
Things have the potential to move quickly. Don't let that throw you off. If you need some time to process things or to make decisions do your best to get yourself that time. Even when things are moving quickly around you, there are things that you can do to help things to move at a pace that you are more comfortable with. Be careful on taking in anything extra that can impact you in a negative way. So for instance it may not be the best time to read the news for six hours a day. You may find that you have all you can do to handle everything that is happening in your life on a daily basis. Take good care of yourself!! Be aware of how you are doing and make sure that you are getting yourself the things that you need. There is a lot of potential in the energy of change moving in around you and great things can happen. You need to be open to that energy of change and make sure that you are keeping on top of your health and well-being to make the most of it!
